It’s back, it’s badder than ever, and it needs you to make it shine in all its cringeworthy glory. Yes, Round Two of the So Bad It’s Good Blogathon is going to take place from February 21st until February 23rd in the year of our Lord, 2020.
If you missed last year, here’s the premise of the blogathon: Review the worst movie or movies you’ve ever seen. These monstrosities seem to fall into three categories:
- Guilty pleasures
- Hilariously bad movies
- Unhilariously bad movies
Obviously, this is highly subjective, so any popular movies you can’t stand are fair game, too.
Here are the other rules as well, and they’re pretty much the same as last year:
- Posts can be sent to me on or around February 21nd through the 23th via the Comment section, Twitter, Instagram (both @TakingUpRoom), or e-mailed to email@example.com. Only new material, please.
- Since this is such a big topic, duplicates will be verboten, although the same movie can be approached from different angles. For instance, one person can do a straight review of a movie while another includes the same film as part of a list.
- Movies can be from any era or of any genre, and can be TV movies, features, indies, or B-movies. Lists of bad movies are fine. Anyone who is stuck for an idea can find a whole lineup of stinkers here. Streaming services, YouTube or Amazon Prime also have tons of choices, and anything from Asylum is a safe bet. So are John Cena films.
