Announcing the Second Annual Broadway Bound Blogathon!

It’s back!

When the Broadway Bound Blogathon made its debut last year, more than one person approached me about making it an annual thing, and you know what? I agree with them. We need a little Broadway in our lives.

Since we only scratched the surface of the Great White Way last year, we’re going to stick with the same categories:

• Movies made about Broadway;
• Movies made from Broadway shows;
• Movies made into Broadway shows;
• Performers, directors, writers, etc. who have worked in both Broadway and Hollywood.

Here are the rules, and of course, we’re going with what works:

1. Posts can be sent to me on or around June 1 through June 3, and no more than three. New material only, please. Podcasts and guest posts are also fine.
2. If you’d like to participate, please leave your blog URL and what you’d like to write about.
3. Again, posts can cover movies made about Broadway, movies made from Broadway shows, movies made into Broadway shows, and performers, directors, and composers who have worked in both Broadway and Hollywood. For a list of ideas, go here. (Ignore the strikethroughs–it’s from last year. I’m just too lazy to retype it. 🙂 )
4. Since Broadway is such a big topic, duplicates will be verboten, although topics can be approached from different angles. For instance, one person can write a whole post about a topic and another can use the same topic as part of a list.
5. Posts can be submitted to the comment section, my Contact page, Twitter (@TakingUpRoom), or e-mail (rebeccadeniston@gmail.com)
6. Grab a banner and advertise the blogathon!
